This was a really great hotel. It's a little older but really comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. The staff was super helpful, and the parking is easy. This is a strange point, but the water pressure is INCREDIBLE!
There is a train next to the hotel, but unless it blows its horn, it shouldn't wake you up.
The hotel is a block or two from the National Mall, so that's a huge plus.
One negative that has nothing to do with the hotel quality is that there are no restaurants (other than McDonald's) within close walking distance. You'll have to drive for food or walk to L'Efant plaza.

Love this place friendly and helpful people. Beds were so comfortable.
However I have to be honest 21st Amendment Bistro within the hotel great service very nice staff but for the prices charged for the food per portions they need to up their game (food was over cooked w/o flavor and flat. I can get larger servings with more flavor at IHOP for less) and at least real silverware instead of a plastic pack.

Initially I thought the hotel was clean and nice when I walked in. Staff are friendly and location is about 20-30 minute walk from everything, which isn’t that bad because there’s a lot to see on the wall. I gave this 2 stars because the walls are super thin! You can hear toilet flushing all night, conversations, and crying toddlers. The drawer in my room in between the beds never shut and just was stuck open. The concierge made my room key expire after 24 hours so I had no elevator or room access, but they fixed it. Also, the key reader in the elevator doesn’t always light up and work. Overall, if you want something semi affordable and convenient, then stay here. Just remember to bring ear plugs to sleep. I personally wouldn’t stay here again and had a way better experience at the intercontinental.
