Upon arriving, you will be directed to the front desk of the Residence Inn for checking. The staff will not even say hello but rather “ID and Credit Card” During my last visit I was actually greeted with a hello but if that guy is t working, you are out of luck. I’ve never been upgraded because of my status here so don’t expect it to happen when you are checking in either. Once checked in, you will be directed back to the courtyard through a connecting fire door. The restaurant and bar are not open except for the am.
If you like a red and orange room that is straight out of the early 90s this hotel is for you. I will also warn you as the furniture also has tears in it and there is an inch of dust under the TV…almost for got the spots of mold in your shower as they all need re-caulking.
If you have a parking lot room, it’ll be relatively quiet but anything facing the street is much louder as you are downtown. Also, watch your bill if you don’t park a car. They charge you for parking automatically and then need to provide a credit. Sometimes the forget the credit and you then have to track them down to remove.
You are really close to all the restaurants you will want to go to.

My husband and I have stayed here twice now. Once by ourselves and once with our kids. Everyone is helpful and friendly. It's a great location! Walking distance to many great resturaunts, the Science museum and so much more.

Great stay. Room was very spacious. Bed was ok. Only complaint is that my room overlooked West Fayette. So morning traffic got me up a lot earlier than planned. Other than that it was quiet. I’m sure they are short staffed just like everyone else but it could use a good vacuum cleaning. Overall, hallways especially.
