Nice resort. Beautiful location. Super friendly staff. The resort is facing in westerly direction and as a consequence the sunsets are spectacular. There are restaurants and bars on site, as well as a convenience store. Other amenities include multiple pools, nice sand beach with some loungers and umbrellas, outdoor gas grill for guest use, spa, water sports center and more. There is a basic kitchenette in the unit. Unit was clean and looked to have updates done to it recently. Look for the iguanas and the rooster on the property.

We always come to Divi. Familiar faces from past visits... friendliness and helpfulness from all. So nice to see old friends still working there, and making new friends. Our favorites are Mimi and Wendy in the cafe...we've known them for quite a few years and they exemplify the spirit of Sint Maarten. They are always...always friendly, cheerful, helpful and attentive. Also, great service from Tina and Elvis at the front desk. Also, great service from Prince at Gizmos. Already planning a return to Divi

The only good thing about this hotel is the sea. Everything else presents constant challenge and struggle. Starting from check-in that takes an hour and a half all the way to moldy dishes, various kinds of insects in the kitchen and construction works right above the room that lasts all day. The whole apartment, including the kitchen and furniture, was covered with a disinfectant that leaves hands and clothes with a layer of oil-type substance. It took a few days to wash it off the dishes and tables for cooking and eating. Whenever I would call reception to ask for anything, they would say “yes, sure” and then nothing would ever happen. For example, I asked for a change of towels three times during one day and they simply never arrived. The room/apartment I booked was on the ground floor, right next to the ice machine (a very noisy one too). The ice machine is on all the time, including the night, and when it prepares the ice it sounds like somebody is drilling outside. When I asked the manager Tina if it was possible to turn it off during the night, she looked me up and down and suggested that I get myself a pair of earplugs. (Right after she was proclaiming the importance of customer service.) Several times I tried to eat in an outdoor hotel restaurant but it always took them over 45 minutes to get anything ready (even simple snacks). To top it up, the hotel started repair works right above my room, which lasted over 3 hours and only stopped because I called the reception and demanded to change rooms. The manager said that they didn’t have any free rooms but the work will continue for another day. By the way, the checkout is at 10 am, and late check-out is only possible with $100 per hour for every extra hour.
