After staying at the hotel the passed three nights I have luckily been able to amend my recommendation. I would have loved to give it five stars but the fact that the hot tubs were out of order without any notifications beforehand I have to give it only four. This was really the main reason for us to chose this hotel. Besides that we did have a great stay. We were upgraded to the best room with an amazing view and very spacious. Only thing which puzzled us was the bathroom which is kind of lousy compared to the standard of the room. However it was clean and functional, but is really in need of an upgrade. Staff was nice and helpful the whole time and the breakfast buffet was nice. We were missing the option to get a nice latte or herbal tea. There were only black tea and one green tea in option. ********************* Has yet not stayed at the hotel, but must admit I’m already fearing it won’t live up to a four star hotel. Besides the bad recommendations here and on Trustpilot we have already ourselves had a bad experience. Received an email from the hotel that we could book a late check out which we did. Received a reply back that a late check out is not possible!!! Really? Then why even send an email with the option?! I hope I will be able to change my 1 star to 5 by the end of my stay. Keeping my crossed!
Standard hotel, slightly annoying rooms ( extra steps for simple things like opening and closing doors, taking a shower, adjusting heating, ect ) but otherwise nice. Very patient, polite and helpful staff, pretty good restaurant downstairs and a pub/cafe. The sauna and outside jacuzzi are quite nice too, and it's very well located, about the same distance to both the shops, the museum and the rest of the city with some pretty great views.one of the first bus stops from the airport, if you are trying to be very fast. It also has a really spacious locker room that's incredibly handy to repack your stuff after checking out and generally organize yourself without having to go to your room every time. Breakfast was absurdly comprehensive, 💯 you'll find something to love there, from baked beans to croissant s, cold meats, bacon, eggs in many forms, vegetables, fruits, cereals, .... If you are looking for a standard hotel with minimal effort, this is probably for you.
A very comfortable hotel in a harsh environment. We enjoyed the indoor sauna and the outdoor jacuzzi. Staff are friendly and competent. We loved the breakfast here.
