The room isn't very big; however I'm not in New York to sit in a hotel room so I'm fine with the size. The price was awesome and I was upgraded to a personal bathroom which was also nice and small. It reminded me of my trip to Rota Spain. That hotel room had a nice view small space and bathroom.
It was pleasant and clean but hidden fees once I got to the front desk. They hit me for amenities. I was like why wouldn't you just include that in the final price prior to booking online? What if I didn't have the extra would I not have been able to stay? Just be forthcoming with people so I don't have to leave a extensive review about trying to charge more at the time of.
Location is awesome, 2 blocks from 51st subway station, dozens of places to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The room is small but well mounted with 2 double beds, safe, desk, and enough space for 3 big luggage. Shower is in the same space as the toilet. Sink is small. There is no cleaning service during the stay, just replacement of towels. Rooms close to the elevator hall suffer with noise from other guests speaking early in the morning.
