I don’t understand the good reviews here. We stayed one night and it was by far the worst 4 star hotel I have been to… (I have visited over 92 countries) The rooms were incredibly in bad shape, dirty and not worthy of 4 stars. We had weird liquid splashes on the wall behind the bed, dirt in every corner, windows that had the paint coming of and couldn’t be closed, weird stuff growing in the shower… and that’s just the stuff we saw in 5 minutes. The worst thing was that it happened to both of our rooms. The staff first told us that no room was available to switch, but after notifying the corporate office a very helpful employee showed up and offered us new rooms. He also acknowledged the bad state of the rooms and the lack of interest of the hotel management in the reported issues. Please do not stay here! To the management of this hotel, please listen to your employees and guests. This hotel needs urgent renovation!

Location, location, location. Beautiful little hotel in an unbelievable location up a side off the main presdestrian walkway and 2 minutes away from the Jet2 bus stop. Highly recommended

We stayed in a junior suite for 5 nights. The style of the hotel is unique and they have a nice spa which we used every day. They offered a wide selection for breakfast but it wasn't too Icelandic and especially the bread wasn't too fresh. The room was clean but it was rather a standard room size than a suite. The bathroom was separated by a milky glass wall only and was very small as well. The stuff was extremely friendly and helpful. Still, they mixed up our reservation and our luggage when we arrived and needed lots of time to figure everything out. At least we got some sparkling wine on the house after the long wait. Unfortunately, the bar was closed due to Covid.
