I stayed in a private room in the annex and had a great time. The room was simple but clean, modern, bright and welcoming, with a delightful rain shower and hot water. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I needed things, even arranging a taxi in the morning for me. My only thing is, Tegucigalpa gets kinda chilly at night and they didn’t have any blankets, but the guard gave me two thick sheets which worked. It’s also a very busy hostel with people coming in and out so if you’re a light sleeper you may want to request a quieter room, but it was fine for me. I had a pleasant time and look forward to staying again next time I come to Tegucigalpa!
The room is good for the price but mine was just beside laundry machines which were on all night so I couldn't sleep it was terrible. I was stayed in room M. Also the cleaning ladies chanting there and staff at night all night so bad. I take a private room to have peace and pay 25 Usd which was no worth it at all. They ask me to pay 5 Usd extra 100 lempiras for check out 30 minutes later which is stupid as they didn't inform me before. Honestly hotel would have been way better. I also didn't meet any other travelers here which is why I choose a hostel in the first place. The man working at the reception ( the only one speaking English, seems bothered when asked questions about tours etc)
Unfortunately this place isn’t a good place to stay. The guard Douglas is a very unpleasant person. He asked me for extra money just to have friends to come visit me. And I was gathering with my friends at the social area and around 9:30 pm Douglas turned off the lights without telling us anything. I’m very sad about the experience because all I wanted to have a good 5 days stays at the place.
