Known as "SWAMI-SCHOOL".THE institution is a cultural and academic institution for people living on the west coast and nearby .Mostly young kids go there , where they can be cultured by Hindu ethics...discipline...culture and secular education. Has good pass rates and academic standards . The swami there was prepared by elders in the Hindu community to care for that sort of vocation. A Guyanese by birth , has the reputation of being a strict principal. Has been compared to Swami VIVEKANANDA by locals. May have some political affiliations. I was asked to give a one month class on hatha yoga by mutual agreement between Ananda Marga org. and Swami aksharananda. The first class carried a large attendance. Then came the spectators and a female comrade of this school who began to trim down the class and relocate to a smaller area. Then one day the hatha yoga class was suspended on the 3rd. Week by the female spectator. I took my task to the Swamiji who advised to follow the said lady and her male accomplices. I was driving whenever i had to go from Georgetown all the way down there in the country area !. THE swami has an amused way of appraising his visitors . Was invited there on a couple of ocassions .When there, i was suddenly isolated in a way to have anyone running ...begging and bowing to their young army....in fact they were the retreat programs which I attended. Same for their public open program .Swami sees others as small fries....apparently.i
