This is the morning after check-in last night 10 p.m. We have already moved to three different rooms. Mildew in the rooms rugs are saturated with puddles of water. Glass broken inside and outside on the patio. Windows are not sealed puddles of condensation water coming inside the room from the windows. Mildew and mold inside the showers. Faucet in the shower completely turned too hot to have a very mildly warm shower. The smell is of a wet old stale cigarette. Very outdated. $45/night mandatory valet. Nearly $200/night room.

Great place to stay in Austin. Short walk or Uber to just about anywhere in the city. Special thanks to the kind and helpful valet duo Leila & Travis for watching our luggage while we made the most of our last day! They were super great! Also make sure to grab a couple (or 4) walnut cookies!

The front desk employees were dismissive and short durning check-in and check-out. Many of the employees seemed irritated when asked questions about amenities or basic services. The front desk sat back and watched the valet crash and burn. The other valet screamed he was going on break and took off. The employees were palpably stressed and angry. I waited 30-45 minutes for my car. He was stuck trying to move several dozen vehicles by himself. The valet gave me my keys and let me retrieve my own car so he could move into the next person. He seemed genuinely apologetic and sincere about the hassle. Many of the front desk staff didn’t seem very happy to be there or care that there was a problem.
